Another challenge!
Although the engine went in and the main wiring loom and engine loom connected, the main loom was caught underneath the engine and the engine loom above. My big concern was that I wouldn’t be able to secure the big connector properly without it touching something it shouldn’t – and would fail the IVA as a result .
In the end I undid the engine mounts and lifted the engine and slid it over to release the connector from underneath. It took me about an hour to get it back in the engine hoist (have I mentioned its a 2 TONNE HOIST!!!) and sort it.
I am glad I did. It all gets a bit tight down there later
