Starting the IVA Process
Well I have finally got to the stage where I need to apply for the right to apply for the IVA (only in the UK!).
- Engine is in and kinda runs
- Prop, diff and nearside drive shaft, hub and brakes are in
- Roll bar is in
Left to do
- Nearside drive shaft, hub and brakes
- Interior trim and all the IVA bits
- Tidy up the leads, coolant pipes etc
- Complete wiring for lights etc once wings are on (suspect this will be more time consuming than I think!)
- Put wings on!
- Fit windscreen washer bottle (struggling to accept I have to drill the bodywork directly for this
- Put clutch and brake fluids in and bleed (alwasy my favourite job)
Lots of paperwork of course but the pack from Michaela at Caterham Gatwick was part completed so hopefully my normal lack of attention to detail wont be too much of an issue.
